{"data":{"id":"us-il/410-ilcs-715-30","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"410 ILCS 715/30","heading":"Donating and repackaging.","body":"Notwithstanding any other law or rule, a recipient may:\n(1) further donate drugs to another recipient;\n(2) repackage donated drugs as necessary for storage, dispensing, administration, or transfers in accordance with the following:\n(A) repackaged medicine shall be labeled with the drug's name, strength, and expiration date, and shall be kept in a separate designated area until inspected and initialed by a pharmacist, practitioner, or a pharmacy technician; and\n(B) if multiple packaged donated medicines with varied expiration dates are repackaged together, the shortest expiration date shall be used; and\n(3) replenish a drug of the same drug name and strength previously dispensed or administered to an eligible patient in accordance with Section 340B of the federal Public Health Service Act.","path":["CHAPTER 410 PUBLIC HEALTH","Illinois Drug Reuse Opportunity Program Act"],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=4192\u0026ChapterID=35\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:36Z","sha256":"12f7752eb4e3683997159c039e13373aaadc151f77bcb63f6e03ab5ea43c2df7","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/410-ilcs-715-25","next":"us-il/410-ilcs-715-35"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
