The use of either \"mental retardation\" or \"intellectually disabled\", or \"mentally retarded\" or \"person with an intellectual disability\" shall not invalidate any rule, contract, or other document.\n(Text of Section after amendment by P.A. 104-598)\nIntellectual disability. The use of either \"mental retardation\" or \"intellectually disabled\", or \"mentally retarded\" or \"mentally handicapped\" or \"person with an intellectual disability\" shall not invalidate any rule, contract, or other document.\nNothing in this amendatory Act of the 104th General Assembly or in any other Act replacing the term \"mentally handicapped\" with \"intellectual disability\" is intended to make any substantive change to eligibility, benefits, or coverage under any provision of law.
