{"data":{"id":"us-il/505-ilcs-145-60","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"505 ILCS 145/60","heading":"Duties.","body":"The duties and responsibilities of the wheat development board shall be prescribed in the authority for each wheat development program and to the extent applicable shall include the following:\n(1) to develop and direct the wheat development program;\n(2) to prepare and approve a budget consistent with estimated receipts and the scope of the wheat development program;\n(3) to formulate and execute assessment procedures, rates, and methods of collection;\n(4) to procure and evaluate data and information necessary for the proper administration and operation of the wheat development program;\n(5) to employ personnel and contract for services that are necessary for the proper operation of the wheat development program;\n(6) to authorize the expenditure of funds and the contracting of expenditures to conduct proper activities of the program;\n(7) to bond the treasurer and other persons necessary to insure adequate protection of funds; and\n(8) to perform other duties that are necessary to the proper operation of the program.","path":["CHAPTER 505 AGRICULTURE","Wheat Development Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=1703\u0026ChapterID=40\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:38Z","sha256":"5bd5e60711956bac34b099e8f0a307d5c90183ea99e206f5d1b1acad9aded42f","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/505-ilcs-145-55","next":"us-il/505-ilcs-145-65"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
