{"data":{"id":"us-il/625-ilcs-5-6-410","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"625 ILCS 5/6-410","heading":"Vehicle inspections.","body":"The Department of Transportation shall provide for the inspection of all motor vehicles used for driver training, and shall issue a safety inspection sticker provided:\n(a) The motor vehicle has been inspected by the Department and found to be in safe mechanical condition;\n(b) The motor vehicle is equipped with dual control brakes and a mirror on each side of the motor vehicle so located as to reflect to the driver a view of the highway for a distance of at least 200 feet to the rear of such motor vehicle; and\n(c) The motor vehicle is equipped with a sign or signs visible from the front and the rear in letters no less than 2 inches tall, listing the full name of the driver training school which has registered and insured the motor vehicle.","path":["CHAPTER 625 VEHICLES","Illinois Vehicle Code."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=1815\u0026ChapterID=49\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:40Z","sha256":"53468eaefe6bff616cf5065476cc438e01b116d7a31375992bf49280b684fead","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/625-ilcs-5-6-409","next":"us-il/625-ilcs-5-6-411"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
