{"data":{"id":"us-il/70-ilcs-200-85-20","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"70 ILCS 200/85-20","heading":"Board members appointed.","body":"Within 60 days after September 17, 1984 (the effective date of Article 3 of Public Act 83-1456), the Mayor of Elgin with the advice and consent of the Elgin City Council shall appoint 7 members of the Board, 2 members to be appointed for a term of one year, 2 members to be appointed for terms of 2 years, and 3 members to be appointed for terms of 3 years, such terms commencing on the date each is appointed. One of the members appointed may be a representative from the Elgin City Council. At the expiration of the term of any member, his successor shall be appointed by the Mayor of Elgin in a like manner.
