{"data":{"id":"us-il/70-ilcs-3620-5","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"70 ILCS 3620/5","heading":"","body":"All carriers affected by this Act shall initiate the training program within 1 year of the effective date of this Act in the following manner:\n(a) all persons who are presently operating employees are to receive training within 3 years.\n(b) beginning 2 years after the effective date of this Act, all employees newly assigned to operative duties are to receive training within 4 months following of their assignment.\n(c) all employees newly assigned to operative duties between 1 and 2 years after the effective date of this Act are to receive this training within 3 years.\n(d) Beginning 3 years after the effective date of this Act, all operative employees are to receive refresher courses at least once every 2 years.","path":["CHAPTER 70 SPECIAL DISTRICTS","Public Transit Employee Training Programs Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=985\u0026ChapterID=15\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:25Z","sha256":"a8bd7e8faab4d5a1cf89d37bfe044c3cffea2b8b5475b5e3006daf9085ed6a5b","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/70-ilcs-3620-4","next":"us-il/70-ilcs-3620-6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
