{"data":{"id":"us-il/705-ilcs-135-15-35","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"705 ILCS 135/15-35","heading":"SCHEDULE 7; misdemeanor drug offenses.","body":"SCHEDULE 7: For a misdemeanor under the Illinois Controlled Substances Act, the Cannabis Control Act, or the Methamphetamine Control and Community Protection Act, the Clerk of the Circuit Court shall collect $905 and remit as follows:\n(1) As the county's portion, $282 to the county treasurer, who shall deposit the money as follows:\n(A) $20 into the Court Automation Fund;\n(B) $20 into the Court Document Storage Fund;\n(C) $5 into the Circuit Court Clerk Operation and Administrative Fund;\n(D) $8 into the Circuit Court Clerk Electronic Citation Fund;\n(E) $185 into the county's General Fund;\n(F) $10 into the Child Advocacy Center Fund;\n(G) $2 into the State's Attorney Records Automation Fund;\n(H) $2 into the Public Defenders Records Automation Fund;\n(I) $10 into the County Jail Medical Costs Fund; and\n(J) $20 into the Probation and Court Services Fund.\n(2) As the State's portion, $621 to the State Treasurer, who shall deposit the money as follows:\n(A) $50 into the State Police Operations Assistance Fund;\n(B) $75 into the Violent Crime Victims Assistance Fund;\n(C) $100 into the Trauma Center Fund;\n(D) $5 into the Spinal Cord Injury Paralysis Cure Research Trust Fund;\n(E) $300 into the Drug Treatment Fund;\n(F) (Blank);\n(G) $66 into the Criminal Justice Information Projects Fund;\n(H) $5 into the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund; and\n(I) $20 into the Traffic and Criminal Conviction Surcharge Fund.\n(3) As the arresting agency's portion, $2, to the treasurer of the unit of local government of the arresting agency, who shall deposit the money into the E-citation Fund of that unit of local government or as provided in subsection (c) of Section 10-5 of this Act if the arresting agency is a State agency, unless more than one agency is responsible for the arrest in which case the amount shall be remitted to each unit of government equally.","path":["CHAPTER 705 COURTS","Criminal and Traffic Assessment Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=3898\u0026ChapterID=50\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:40Z","sha256":"4f3f6607a59b82e89e588f7d08cd6bcd88c16149b36964c250120b247601b4c4","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/705-ilcs-135-15-30","next":"us-il/705-ilcs-135-15-40"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
