{"data":{"id":"us-il/720-ilcs-5-32-4d","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"720 ILCS 5/32-4d","heading":"Payment of jurors by parties prohibited.","body":"(a) After a verdict has been rendered in a civil or criminal case, a person who was a plaintiff or defendant in the case may not knowingly offer or pay an award or other fee to a juror who was a member of the jury that rendered the verdict in the case.\n(b) After a verdict has been rendered in a civil or criminal case, a member of the jury that rendered the verdict may not knowingly accept an award or fee from the plaintiff or defendant in that case.\n(c) Sentence.
