{"data":{"id":"us-il/730-ilcs-230-30","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"730 ILCS 230/30","heading":"Compliance and enforcement.","body":"(a) The Department shall ensure compliance with federal disability laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, through the implementation of this Act.\n(b) Individuals with an intellectual disability or a developmental disability who are denied access to programs or accommodations under this Act may file a grievance through the Department's established grievance procedures.\n(c) No later than March 31 of each year beginning on March 31, 2028, the Department shall report the following aggregate data to the Governor and the General Assembly for the previous fiscal year:\n(1) the number of individuals identified through the pathways in subsection (d) of Section 15;\n(2) the number of waiver requests received;\n(3) the number of waivers approved and denied;\n(4) the number of individuals with a documented intellectual disability or developmental disability who received a waiver and participated in programs;\n(5) the number of individuals with a documented intellectual disability or developmental disability who received a waiver but did not participate in programs; and\n(6) the earned program sentence credit outcomes for individuals receiving waivers.","path":["CHAPTER 730 CORRECTIONS","Equitable Access to Education, Employment, and Training for Incarcerated Individuals with Disabilities Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=4699\u0026ChapterID=55\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:43Z","sha256":"6912aae4e67006d773c87ac36cdc1b6230b52fba9eb7920f7fc41eb81f22c644","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/730-ilcs-230-25","next":"us-il/730-ilcs-230-35"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
