{"data":{"id":"us-il/755-ilcs-75-11","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"755 ILCS 75/11","heading":"Report of open-market sale.","body":"(a) Unless required to do so within a shorter time by Article XVII of the Code of Civil Procedure, a broker appointed under Section 10(b) to offer heirs property for open-market sale shall file a report with the court not later than seven days after receiving an offer to purchase the property for at least the value determined under Section 6 or 10.\n(b) The report required by subsection (a) must contain the following information:\n(1) a description of the property to be sold to each buyer;\n(2) the name of each buyer;\n(3) the proposed purchase price;\n(4) the terms and conditions of the proposed sale, including the terms of any owner financing;\n(5) the amounts to be paid to lienholders;\n(6) a statement of contractual or other arrangements or conditions of the broker's commission; and\n(7) other material facts relevant to the sale.","path":["CHAPTER 755 ESTATES","Uniform Partition of Heirs Property Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=4032\u0026ChapterID=60\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:44Z","sha256":"84ab94cc3c6aae2cabe4b582edf774e556a6a5a55b745c1ed71d57eb14565fc4","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/755-ilcs-75-10","next":"us-il/755-ilcs-75-12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
