{"data":{"id":"us-il/820-ilcs-405-901.1","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"820 ILCS 405/901.1","heading":"Additional penalty.","body":"In addition to the penalties imposed under Section 901, an individual who, for the purposes of obtaining benefits, knowingly makes a false statement or knowingly fails to disclose a material fact, and thereby obtains any sum as benefits for which he or she is not eligible, shall be required to pay a penalty in an amount equal to 15% of such sum. All of the provisions of Section 900 applicable to the recovery of sums described in paragraph 1 of subsection A of Section 900 shall apply to penalties imposed pursuant to this Section.
