As used in this chapter, \"emergency management worker\" includes any full-time or part-time paid, volunteer, or auxiliary employee of:\n(1) the state;\n(2) other:\n(A) states;\n(B) territories; or\n(C) possessions;\n(3) the District of Columbia;\n(4) the federal government;\n(5) any neighboring country;\n(6) any political subdivision of an entity described in subdivisions (1) through (5); or\n(7) any agency or organization;\nperforming emergency management services at any place in Indiana subject to the order or control of, or under a request of, the state government or any political subdivision of the state.
