(a) A dependent of a prisoner of war or person missing in action, upon the person's acceptance for enrollment in a state educational institution, may obtain a bachelor's degree or certificate of completion without tuition or charge as long as the dependent is eligible.\n(b) A dependent is entitled to the benefits of this chapter notwithstanding any circumstance, including the return or the reported death of the dependent's parent or guardian who had been declared a prisoner of war or a person missing in action.","path":["TITLE 10.
