As used in this chapter, \"public safety service provider\" or \"provider\" means an officer or employee of the state, an officer or employee of a governmental unit, or a volunteer who is engaged in at least one (1) of the following activities:\n(1) Firefighting.\n(2) Emergency management.\n(3) Environmental management.\n(4) Fire or building inspection.\n(5) Emergency medical service.\n(6) Any other public safety or homeland security activity that the department may designate.","path":["TITLE 10.
