The emergency medical services restitution fund is established for the purpose of reimbursing persons who:\n(1) are certified or licensed under IC 16-31-3; and\n(2) provided emergency medical services to individuals injured as a result of an accident caused by an individual who:\n(A) was operating a vehicle while intoxicated at the time the accident occurred; and\n(B) was subsequently convicted under IC 9-30-5 of that offense.","path":["TITLE 16.
