(a) A public accommodation shall not ask about the nature or extent of an individual's disability, but may make the following two (2) inquiries to determine whether an animal qualifies as a service animal:\n(1) Whether the animal is required because of a disability.\n(2) What work or task the animal has been trained to perform.\n(b) A public accommodation shall not require documentation, such as proof that the animal has been:\n(1) certified;\n(2) trained; or\n(3) licensed;\nas a service animal.\n(c) A public accommodation may not make inquiries about a service animal's qualifications when it is readily apparent that the animal is trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.","path":["TITLE 16.
