The pilot program must include:\n(1) treatment in a residential care facility for recovery from opioid addiction for a pregnant woman or a woman with her newborn, including:\n(A) addiction treatment, including, if appropriate, medication assisted treatment with a long acting, nonaddictive medication approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of opioid or alcohol dependence;\n(B) counseling;\n(C) life skills classes;\n(D) parenting skills classes; and\n(E) other services designed to prepare the woman for life with a newborn outside the residential care facility; and\n(2) ongoing home visits with a pregnant woman or woman with a newborn, including the provision of:\n(A) addiction treatment, including, if appropriate, medication assisted treatment with a long acting, nonaddictive medication approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of opioid or alcohol dependence;\n(B) life skills education;\n(C) parenting skills education;\n(D) counseling; and\n(E) any other appropriate assistance;\nfollowing the woman's discharge from the residential care facility.","path":["TITLE 16.
