(a) A registration or certificate of a birth or stillbirth shall be open to public inspection, and a copy provided, upon the request of any person that occurs on or after the date that is ninety-nine (99) years after the record's creation date.\n(b) Notwithstanding subsection (a), the birth record of an adopted child remains subject to the confidentiality provisions of IC 31-19 regarding the release of adoption information.","path":["TITLE 16.
