(a) The following persons shall report to the cancer registry each confirmed case of cancer and other tumors and precancerous diseases required to be recorded under section 1 of this chapter:\n(1) Physicians.\n(2) Dentists.\n(3) Hospitals.\n(4) Medical laboratories.\n(5) Ambulatory outpatient surgical centers.\n(6) Health facilities.\n(b) A person required to report information to the state cancer registry under this section may utilize, when available:\n(1) information submitted to any other public or private cancer registry; or\n(2) information required to be filed with federal, state, or local agencies;\nwhen completing reports required by this chapter.
