For the purposes of this chapter, consent to the release of a deceased patient's record may be given by the personal representative of the patient's estate. If there is no appointment of a personal representative, consent may be given by:\n(1) the patient's spouse; or\n(2) if there is no spouse, any responsible member of the patient's family, including a parent, guardian, or custodian of the deceased patient’s minor child.","path":["TITLE 16.
