(a) A person who generates infectious waste is responsible for the:\n(1) appropriate containment;\n(2) appropriate labeling;\n(3) effective treatment;\n(4) transport; and\n(5) disposal of;\ninfectious waste as required by this chapter.\n(b) A person may provide services to the person who generates infectious waste, including the responsibilities described in subsection (a)(1) through (a)(5).
