As used in this chapter, \"biological product\" means:\n(1) a virus;\n(2) a therapeutic serum;\n(3) a toxin;\n(4) an antitoxin;\n(5) a vaccine;\n(6) blood;\n(7) a blood component;\n(8) a blood derivative;\n(9) an allergenic product;\n(10) a protein (except any chemically synthesized polypeptide);\n(11) a product analogous to a product described in subdivisions (1) through (10);\n(12) arsphenamine;\n(13) an arsphenamine derivative; or\n(14) any other trivalent organic arsenic compound;\napplicable to the prevention, treatment, or cure of a disease or condition for human beings.","path":["TITLE 16.
