(a) The term of a member appointed to the council is four (4) years.\n(b) Terms for appointed members begin on July 1 and end on June 30 of an odd-numbered year.\n(c) An appointed member may not serve more than one (1) complete term.\n(d) Notwithstanding subsection (a), the initial terms of the appointed members of the council under section 5 of this chapter are as follows:\n(1) Members appointed under section 5(b)(1), 5(b)(4), 5(b)(7), and 5(b)(10) of this chapter, for a term of two (2) years.\n(2) Members appointed under section 5(b)(2), 5(b)(5), 5(b)(8), and 5(b)(11) of this chapter, for a term of three (3) years.\n(3) Members appointed under section 5(b)(3), 5(b)(6), and 5(b)(9) of this chapter, for a term of four (4) years.","path":["TITLE 16.
