(a) As used in this article, \"health care personnel\" means the following:\n(1) A nurse aide (as defined in IC 16-28-13-1).\n(2) A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse licensed under IC 25-23.\n(3) An advanced practice registered nurse licensed under IC 25-23.\n(4) A qualified medication aide certified under IC 16-27.5-4.\n(5) A home health aide.\n(6) A physician assistant licensed under IC 25-27.5.\n(7) Except as provided in subsection (b), any other individual licensed or authorized by the state to provide health care or professional services to residents or patients of a health care facility.\n(b) The term does not include a physician licensed under IC 25-22.5.","path":["TITLE 16.
