(a) The term of office of an appointed member of the corporation board is four (4) years. The member's term begins on July 1 after the appointment.\n(b) Each member holds office for the term of appointment and continues to serve after expiration of the appointment until a successor is appointed and qualified. A member is eligible for reappointment.\n(c) If there is a vacancy in the corporation board, the mayor shall fill the vacancy for the unexpired term.\n(d) A vacancy occurs if a member dies, resigns, changes residence of the county, or ceases to be a:\n(1) leader of a participating innovation network charter school or charter school located within the geographic boundaries of the school city; or\n(2) member of the board of commissioners.\n(e) A member of the corporation board may be removed for cause by the mayor.","path":["TITLE 20.
