(a) The governing body of a school corporation may provide transportation for students to and from school.\n(b) If the governing body of a school corporation:\n(1) provides transportation; or\n(2) contracts with an educational service center (as defined by IC 20-20.5-1-3) to provide transportation;\nno fee may be charged to a parent or student for transportation to and from school. However, a fee may be charged for transportation to and from an athletic, a social, or another school sponsored function.","path":["TITLE 20. EDUCATION","ARTICLE 27.
