(a) A teacher who is subject to section 8 of this chapter is not subject to this section.\n(b) A teacher who:\n(1) serves under contract as a teacher in a school corporation;\n(2) is in the teacher's first or second year of full-time teaching in a classroom; and\n(3) has not at any time before July 1, 2012, entered into a teaching contract for further service with the school corporation;\nshall be considered a probationary teacher.\n(c) A teacher who:\n(1) is not a probationary teacher under subsection (b); and\n(2) enters into a contract described in section 2 of this chapter;\nbecomes a professional teacher.","path":["TITLE 20.
