(a) The building rules adopted by the commission to govern new construction must promote the following:\n(1) Safety.\n(2) Sanitary conditions.\n(3) Energy conservation.\n(4) Access by a person with a physical disability to Class 1 structures.\n(b) Rules that:\n(1) are adopted by the commission; and\n(2) are not covered by subsection (a);\nmust promote safety.","path":["TITLE 22.
