Whenever a department fire investigator retires after at least twenty (20) years of service, the department shall, in recognition of the investigator's service to the department, do the following:\n(1) Allow the investigator to retain the service weapon issued to the investigator by the department.\n(2) Issue the investigator a badge that indicates the investigator is a retired department fire investigator.\n(3) Issue the investigator an identification card that contains the following information:\n(A) The name of the department.\n(B) The name of the investigator.\n(C) The investigator's position title before the investigator's retirement.\n(D) A statement that the investigator is retired.\n(E) A statement that the investigator is authorized to retain the service weapon issued to the investigator by the department.","path":["TITLE 22.
