(a) Notwithstanding any other law, an applicant for a construction project requiring a design release for a Class 1 structure under IC 22-15-3 may satisfy the design release requirement through self-certification.\n(b) Self-certification may be used only for projects that are required to be signed and sealed by an Indiana registered design professional. The department may exclude projects from self-certification that involve high-hazard occupancies, essential facilities, or other structures determined to pose an elevated risk to life safety.","path":["TITLE 22.
