(a) An employer may not terminate an employee from employment based on:\n(1) the filing, by the employee, for a petition for a protective order for the protection of the employee, whether or not the protective order has been issued; or\n(2) the actions of an individual against whom the employee has filed a protective order.\n(b) This section does not prohibit an employer from altering:\n(1) the location of employment of an employee;\n(2) an employee's compensation or benefits; or\n(3) a term or condition of employment;\nupon which an employee and employer mutually have agreed to alter.","path":["TITLE 22.
