(a) \"Automobile club\" means a person that, for consideration, promises to assist its members or subscribers in matters relating to:\n(1) motor travel; or\n(2) the operation, use, or maintenance of a motor vehicle;\nby supplying services, which may include towing service, emergency road service, or indemnification service.\n(b) The term includes:\n(1) a motor vehicle dealer; or\n(2) an insurance company;\noperating as an automobile club to provide any of the services described in subsection (a).","path":["TITLE 24.
