(a) This section applies in addition to or instead of any other civil or criminal penalty.\n(b) The department may revoke or suspend the license of a distributor, a stamping agent, or any other person that violates section 15 of this chapter.\n(c) Each:\n(1) stamp affixed;\n(2) sale of cigarettes; or\n(3) offer or possession of cigarettes for sale;\nin violation of section 15 of this chapter constitutes a separate violation.\n(d) The department or the commission may impose a civil penalty that does not exceed the greater of:\n(1) five hundred percent (500%) of the retail value of the cigarettes sold; or\n(2) five thousand dollars ($5,000);\nfor each violation of section 15 of this chapter.","path":["TITLE 24.
