(a) A person may not solicit or otherwise request money from the public for any purpose:\n(1) using the name of a public safety agency; or\n(2) by using language that implies a connection to a public safety agency;\nunless the person first receives express written permission from the public safety agency.\n(b) Permission granted by a public safety agency under subsection (a) may be withdrawn by the agency if the agency finds that a person is or has been soliciting in a manner that:\n(1) reflects negatively on the agency; or\n(2) differs significantly from that for which permission was granted.\n(c) A person shall immediately stop soliciting upon notification by a public service agency that the agency has withdrawn its permission.","path":["TITLE 24.
