(a) This chapter shall be liberally construed and applied to protect senior consumers.\n(b) The purposes and policies of this chapter are to:\n(1) simplify, clarify, and modernize the law concerning the ownership, control, and use of property or assets of senior consumers; and\n(2) protect senior consumers from financial exploitation from persons, who by deception or intimidation, obtain control over the property or assets of a senior consumer.","path":["TITLE 24.
