As used in this chapter, \"home consumer transaction\" means a consumer transaction that the consumer did not solicit that results from the direct contact by a supplier at a place other than the supplier's permanent place of business. For purposes of this chapter, direct contact by the supplier does not include:\n(1) contact conducted and consummated entirely by mail or telephone;\n(2) contact between the buyer and seller or its representatives before delivery of the goods or performance of the services in the case of a supplier regulated under IC 23-7-8; or\n(3) advertising to the general public.","path":["TITLE 24.
