(a) As used in this chapter, \"governmental entity\" means any of the following:\n(1) The state.\n(2) A state agency (as defined in IC 1-1-15-3).\n(3) A political subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13) or an instrumentality of a political subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13).\n(b) The term includes an:\n(1) official;\n(2) agent; or\n(3) employee;\nof an entity listed in subsection (a).","path":["TITLE 24.
