(a) As used in this chapter, \"health care services\" includes the following:\n(1) The following concerning a patient:\n(A) Assessment.\n(B) Diagnosis.\n(C) Evaluation.\n(D) Consultation.\n(E) Treatment.\n(F) Monitoring of a patient.\n(2) Transfer of medical data.\n(3) Patient health related education.\n(4) Health administration.\n(b) The term does not include case management services, care management services, service coordination services, or care coordination services:\n(1) as defined in IC 12-7-2.1-46;\n(2) provided to individuals under the Indiana Medicaid program or Medicaid waivers; or\n(3) provided to individuals under any other programs administered by the office of the secretary of family and social services or the Indiana department of health.","path":["TITLE 25.
