As used in this chapter, \"licensed practical nurse\" means a person who holds a valid license issued under this chapter or IC 25-42 and who functions at the direction of:\n(1) a registered nurse;\n(2) a physician with an unlimited license to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine;\n(3) a licensed dentist;\n(4) a licensed chiropractor;\n(5) a licensed optometrist; or\n(6) a licensed podiatrist;\nin the performance of activities commonly performed by practical nurses and requiring special knowledge or skill.","path":["TITLE 25.
