(a) This chapter does not apply to a nurse practicing in accordance with the practice and principles of the body known as the Church of Christ Scientist.\n(b) A sanitarium, nursing home, or rest home provided that it is listed and certified by the Commission for Accreditation of Christian Science Nursing Organizations/Facilities, Inc. does not have to comply with any rule adopted by the board, except a rule that concerns the following:\n(1) The sanitary and safe conditions of the premises.\n(2) The cleanliness of operation.\n(3) The physical equipment.\n(c) The chapter does not apply to a person if:\n(1) the person is licensed as a nurse in another jurisdiction;\n(2) the person is employed by an individual, an agency, or a legal business entity located in that jurisdiction;\n(3) the person's employment responsibilities include transporting a patient between jurisdictions;\n(4) no trip made by the person into Indiana for the purpose of transporting a patient lasts more than seventy-two (72) hours; and\n(5) the person does not make more than six (6) trips into Indiana for the purpose of transporting a patient during any twelve (12) month period.","path":["TITLE 25.
