(a) There is created the Indiana board of physical therapy. Subject to IC 25-1-6.5-3, the board is comprised of the following:\n(1) Three (3) physical therapists.\n(2) One (1) physical therapist assistant.\n(3) One (1) member who is a resident of the state and who is not associated with physical therapy in any way, other than as a consumer.\n(b) The governor shall make each appointment before July 1, 2019, for a term of three (3) years.\n(c) The governor shall make each appointment after June 30, 2019, under IC 25-1-6.5.\n(d) Each physical therapist and physical therapist assistant appointed must:\n(1) have an unrestricted license or certificate issued under this chapter;\n(2) have had not less than five (5) years experience in the actual practice of physical therapy immediately preceding appointment; and\n(3) be a resident of the state and actively engaged in this state in the practice of physical therapy during incumbency as a member of the board.\n(e) The affirmative vote of a majority of the members appointed to the board is required for the board to take action on any measure.\n(f) The board shall meet at least quarterly.\n(g) A member may be removed under IC 25-1-6.5-4.","path":["TITLE 25.
