(a) The board may adopt rules requiring a professional engineer to obtain continuing education for renewal of a certificate under section 17 of this chapter.\n(b) If the board adopts rules under this section, the rules must do the following:\n(1) Establish an inactive certificate of registration that:\n(A) does not require the holder of an inactive certificate to obtain continuing education; and\n(B) prohibits the holder of an inactive certificate from practicing engineering.\n(2) Establish requirements for reactivation of an inactive certificate.","path":["TITLE 25.
