A public adjuster shall not:\n(1) file an insurance claim with:\n(A) an insurer; or\n(B) an agent, employee, or representative of an insurer;\non behalf of an insured person;\n(2) act in any manner in relation to claims for personal injury or automobile liability;\n(3) bind the insured in the settlement of claims; or\n(4) perform:\n(A) the role of a roofing contractor;\n(B) the role of an appraiser; or\n(C) any other role;\nwith respect to the subject of a claim at the same time that the public adjuster is providing advice or assistance to an insured in the adjustment of the claim.","path":["TITLE 27.
