(a) A person shall not:\n(1) provide professional employer services;\n(2) advertise that the person:\n(A) is a professional employer organization; or\n(B) provides professional employer services; or\n(3) otherwise hold the person out as a professional employer organization;\nin Indiana unless the person is registered under this article.\n(b) The registration requirement specified in subsection (a) applies to a person that performs any of the activities specified in subsection (a) regardless of the person's use of any of the following terms:\n(1) Professional employer organization.\n(2) PEO.\n(3) Staff leasing company.\n(4) Registered staff leasing company.\n(5) Employee leasing company.\n(6) Administrative employer.\n(7) Any other name.","path":["TITLE 27.
