As used in this chapter, \"good faith estimate\" means a health carrier's reasonable estimate of:\n(1) the amount of the cost of a nonemergency health care service that the health carrier will:\n(A) pay for; or\n(B) reimburse to;\na covered individual; or\n(2) the applicable benefit limitations of the nonemergency health care service a covered individual is entitled to receive;\nthat a health carrier provides upon request to a covered individual for whom a nonemergency health care service has been ordered.","path":["TITLE 27.
