(a) As used in this chapter, \"licensee\" means a person that is:\n(1) licensed, authorized to operate, or registered; or\n(2) required to be licensed, authorized to operate, or registered;\nunder this title and the rules adopted under this title.\n(b) The term does not include any of the following:\n(1) A purchasing group or risk retention group that is chartered and licensed in another state.\n(2) A person that is:\n(A) acting as an assuming insurer; and\n(B) domiciled in a state or jurisdiction other than Indiana.","path":["TITLE 27.
