As used in this chapter, \"provider billing agent\" means a person or entity that contracts with a dental provider to provide billing services for the dental provider, including:\n(1) submitting bills to patients;\n(2) requesting payment from patients; and\n(3) receiving payment from patients;\nunder the terms and conditions of the contract between the dental provider and the person or entity.","path":["TITLE 27.
