(a) As used in this chapter, \"third party\" means a person that enters into a contract with a contracting entity or another third party to gain access to:\n(1) a provider network contract;\n(2) dental services provided pursuant to a provider network contract; or\n(3) contractual discounts provided pursuant to a provider network contract.\n(b) The term does not include an employer or another group or entity for which the contracting entity provides administrative services.","path":["TITLE 27.
