(a) A public question shall be placed on the general election ballot in the following form:\n(The explanatory text for the public question,\nif required by law)\n\"Shall (insert public question)?\"\n[] YES\n[] NO\n(b) In addition to any other explanatory text required by law, the ballot must also contain a statement that reads substantially as follows: \"To vote on this public question, make a voting mark on or in the square to the left of the word \"YES\" or \"NO\".\".\n(c) Except as expressly authorized or required by statute, the commission, the election division, or a county election board may not authorize the printing or use of ballots that contain language concerning the public question other than the language authorized by a statute.\n(d) A public question printed on a ballot shall be set forth without any quotation marks preceding or following the text of the public question.","path":["TITLE 3.
