A member of a precinct election board or county election board, a person employed at the central counting headquarters, or a person charged with a duty in connection with an election or entrusted with the custody or control of a ballot either before or after voting who marks or defaces a ballot for the purpose of:\n(1) identifying the ballot (except by numbering protested ballots for future reference as provided by law); or\n(2) vitiating the ballot;\ncommits a Level 6 felony.","path":["TITLE 3.
